Terrific double ep! Bob Apthorp is the perfect guestpert, and what a fantastic topic! Kevin’s puns were amazingly bad –thank heavens–and all of the CS crew were tip top! Also, the intermission music was The Best! Thanks for this one!

That song is one of my all-time favourites and always makes me chortle

And what a good choice it is!

Yeah, excellent call on the double hit of Sheldon Allman. “Folk Songs…” is a fantastic record, but you definitely picked the two best cuts.

  • Peter Hornsby This is a few years old now but still some fascinating / chilling pictures. It seems it’ll remain a time capsule of Soviet Russia.

Also was Kevin thinking of the Fall Guy, with Colt Severs?

Kevin was talking about Alan Thicke’s old sitcom Growing Pains. The family were the Seavers.

Allan Newell beat me to it – excellent all around! This might be my favourite double episode, Bob Apthorp was superb and the music was perfect. Thanks for a great couple of hours!

Great to hear a reference to “The Big Bus”, an underrated spoof from the 70’s. My friends and I still joke about the Oriental Lounge. You should check it out.
