Oddly, this showed up in my Facebook feed today. It’s a video of an elephant going on a rampage.

Elephants were used by Hannibal when he invaded the Italian peninsula from the North (coming via Spain) during the Punic Wars, which I think you might have mentioned during the Military Animals episode, but it inspires a pretty awesome Lesser of Two Evils (props to Dan Carlin for this one): Would you rather be a Carthaginian warrior riding on one of his elephants (all fired up and grumpy) against the Romans, or one of 8 Roman soldiers (who are typically farmers) going up again the elephant and its warrior? It’d scare the willies out of me!
Great choice of topic, guys.
